seeking good 2nd hand solid mass flywheel for 2LT ???

Seeking a good 2nd hand solid flywheel for a black rocker cover 2LT thats in a 89' LJ71 cruiser , preferlby in the south island . ( I'm in Chch ) ???????

(I just pulled my gearbox this weekend to replace the clutch & to find all busted springs except 1 in my Multi mass flywheel & the pilot bearing is stuffed - no wonder it was so noisey )

don't think it has a solid flywheel ? plus its in the nth island . I need one a.s.a.p !

I have one. Solid mass, but from a 2LT in an LN61 surf... Not sure if they are the same, but grab it and see if it will work... if it does its yours for $100... (its almost new)

[edit] Apparently the early ones were 6-bolt, and the later an 8-bolt... The one I have is 6-bolt...

I sent Supralux a message but haven't heard back , i think his flywheel must be a 6 bolt , when i am seeking a 8 bolt . If anyone has a good 2nd hand 8 bolt flywheel( minus clutch as just bought a brand new one) can you send me a messgage or txt or call my mobile ! seeking one pronto/ a.s.a.p

No worrys mate , i did'nt know that you were selling one on trademe, I sorta figured it was the 6 bolt since it came from an early hilux surf .

p/s: for anyone who needs custom springs made for what ever , i found a place in Chch tcalled CBC in brisbane st , Chch . they custom make virtually any coil spring ( down to a 10mm long ), was going to get new springs made for my Mulit-mass flywheel & they were $7.50 each ( 4 ) for him to make , which is an awesome price , the amount of times i have needed a spring for something & ended up buying a complete new part , well i lost count of how many times , something to remember !

was quoted around $365 for a brand new one from lineside in Rangoira , but they are a rip off anyway ! i wonder who "maxamiss" , maybe from this site ?

MAHINDRACJ4A>> is that a willy's jeep you have or what model is it ? i used to have a 68' J200 that had dana 44's front & rear ,dana 20 t/case & stock 232 , that was replaced with a AMC 360 & toqueflite ( out of a FSJ i had )

Well... Go ask a wrecker what they want for one. I got quoted $500 for a secondhand one with throw out bearing, used clutch and pressure plate last year at local wreckers
At the end of the day it is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it I guess.
I would have been happy for it to go for $80-$100.

i went to a wrecker in falsgrave st , chch yesterday . they have a good 2nd hand solid mass 3L ( 2.8 ) flywheel & complete clutch for $250 , 3L flywheel is sapposedly the same as the 2L/T flywheel ?
