anyone got a spare 24v safari alternater

i have a busted alternator on the safari and want to know if anyone has one they can bring out to sheffield for me to borrow or buy????

its a 24v system

or can i just run on two fully charged batterys all day and swap for another batt. at lunch or to get home. i have no problems charging from another car

Did you drive through a whole lot of dirty water recently? perhaps try giving it a water blast, tow starting it and it may sort it self out on the way out to the plug. I would say at least get the vehicle to the plug, there will be plenty of people will advice or who may be able to help but alas i think they are up and away shortly. Albundy is the king on alternator issues.
