im looking at doing a ute conversion on my safari.
could anyone that has done it give me some tips that they learned
and problems encounted during the build

check the forum main nissan there is a guy who did this convert still on going i think
89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered

been thinking about a ute conversion for a while now, i am going to do one as i have a bit rust in the roof, i have decided which way i am going to do it,but i need to check for cert first!, and just getting the balls to get the grinder out and make that first cut, send me a PM with ur email address and i will show a picture which way i am going to do it if its any help to yer

Doddgee, you are alive.

Do the google thing, but also check in overseas Nissan forums. Try searching for patrol ute cabs, and Ford maverick as well.
You never know what bits of good info will pop up when you least expect it.
