hey does anyone know much about 1987 toyota ssr surf? looking at one on trademe but would like info about what you all think of them or maybe a link of somewere on this sit i can find info as have search but cant find much.
here is the trademe site. maybe if anyone is in hastings they could have a look at it for me let me know before i invest in driving down there.

It will be IFS not solid front axle as it says in the auction
LR110 ..... LJ50 project :roll:

thanks for that but if i were to decided to go IFS would it be a good runner? whats the difference between the ssr and the regular surfs?

Im fairly certain SSR is just a trim package..ie nicer seats...better radio etc

2.4TD IFS 3-door surf. SSR limited covers 95% of them you see on the road... most of them are gunmetal grey. Seems this one is black, which is something different I suppose...

I would advise against it - the motor is not reliable, and the front suspension doesn't work that well.
