better do some checking

I had one of those rebuild kits put through my transfercase a few years back but I didnt do it myself so I dont know what size idler it was but its supposed to be the 38mm?
edit*
did you get some of those Marks gears or something else?
Sure did
went to test fit it all on Fri night and i have 34mm idler. I took it as a given it would be 38mm. They have a 34mm kit here in Ch Ch but only for a 4 speed, and because its a public holiday in Aus today i have to wait until tomorrow to find out what differences there are between the kits, hopefully they can mix me up a set from what he has here, otherwise will have to wait for it to come from Aus

8% high range 55% low range
Might finally be able to get some power from the 3B
I'm gonna need them when i borrow Rok or Riks tyres
It'll be interesting to see how much difference it makes, want to go to a 37" tyre (4 of them actually
) So i at least have a chance of keeping up with all the big boots that are starting to appear down here

H2OLOVA >>> Easy to find what size idler your Transfer has , on the rear of your case looking back towards the engine , you will have the input shaft/gear plate ( Top left ), then idler shaft ( Middle ) , Output shaft ( Bottom right ) . Just measure the round section of the end of the idler with vernier's ( i have digital version ) or tape measure or rule if you don't have one .
Most Alloy split transfer case's before 85' are 34mm idler version . i bought this kit thinking mine was the 34mm seeing as it's a wee prado , but it comes down to the year of the vehicle it came stock in not the weight or power of vehicle ( unless its been swapped out ) ?
