Winch Challenge Dunedin this weekend?

HI
I thought I had just put this on as a new topic but it doesn't appear to be there, must've pushed wrong button???? OR it'll come up twice - Bugger!!!

Anyway someone told us there was going to be a 24 hour winch challenge in or around Dunedin this weekend (29-30 Sept).
Has anyone heard this too, and if so can you give me some details so we can check it out?

it was called off last month ( too few entry's ). the hard yaka is on 13th-14th OCT on pretty much the same courses

Thanks for the info, that'd be why it was so bloody hard to find on the internet!! Have fun on the 13th though. Will have to go to next one cos will be in OZ, bugger!

The 24 hour is/was not a winch challenge. Just a fun club event by invite spread over 24 hours and a large area. Timing this year did not suit many of the participants, hence the calling of it off.
