OffroadExpress Video Site Now Live.

Post by mike »

Hi Ya All,

It still needs a lot of work but is functional now.

address -> http://www.4wdtv.co.nz

use your offroadexpress username and login to login.

IMPORTANT: when posting include tag: [video] : in the description. The video will be processed within two minutes of uploading.

I will change it so that it automatically populates that description later on for you guys.

Oh and if you see any vids that belong to you, reply here with the link and ill change the ownership to you so it appears in your list of vids.

Have fun

I have to apologise for the crap Vid I have put on of Mike at the Sheffield Mud Plug, It will be updated once I get the footage back, converted to some better res.

It's OK as long as you don't view it full screen

Sound is all good though, watch this section for some great vids to come I say!!

You should never need to apologise for good 4WD content :) Especially when it sounds so good :)

i agree sound is more important than video :D :D
and not just for 4x4 vids
i enjpy checking out bootleg videos of music concerts on youtube i don´t care what the picture is like as long as it sounds good quality

Make sure youve logged in with your ore details.

then on the left hand side (topish) click create content, then video , upload the video. wait a minute or two for the site to process it and it should appear.

Here is a screen shot of what tabs you should get, if they are not all there, it's gonna need some further investigation.

If Mike is happy for me to spend some time on his behalf, I will put together a tutorial similar to the photo posting one I did a while back? what say you Mike?

Hmmm.. sounds like a permissions issue in Drupal... not something that will be overcome with a tutorial. I would expect at this stage it should be pretty straight forward if he had the right link to click :)

Try clicking this link, squeak... if it gives something like permission denied then you need to get Mike to look at your permissions in the back end...

Considering all the work you've put into it I don't see why it SHOULDN'T be for supporters only... whats $20 to get access to all the cool toys you've made for us?
