Suzuki Driveshaft balancing?

Post by nstacey »

Have finally got my new diff for the GV, Part of the process for removing the old one gets you to mark the position of the joint flange to the propeller shaft for reassembly.

So this must preserve the front driveshaft balance? Does that mean the driveshaft is balanced based on the front diff? Because this is a completely new diff casing do I need to have the driveshaft rebalanced or is it not that big a deal?

I wouldn't bother and if you do get some vibrations take it to Howatt Engineering in Naenae and he will be able to re-balance your drive shaft.
