Terrano Snorkel

Post by Thrupp »

My mate has a nissan terrano the same shape as Albundys old one? Maybe a early 1990s. What is the best snorkel to get? The safari one is $600 and the airflow is apparently not in the country for his model? Cheers.

You could check out what it would cost to have a metal tube one bent up too. Wish I had done that to mine as they look so much nicer.
One thing to rememer with the terrano's, if you get a broken front windscreen, the glass outfits will ask you remove the snorkel for them before they replace it.
I had quite a hassle removing mine last year,(airflow), would have been so much easier it it was metal tubed for removal.

Just my thoughts.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

$600 is waaaay toooo much for a bit of plastic. Mine cost $500 fitted, I think it was an airflow one. Rick at 4wd accessories makes up stell ones out of steel, or he could source you a cheaper plastic one. 3651909.

It ws because the Terrano snorkel covers about 75mm of the windscreen from the edge, access was not there for them as you cant even get your fingers behind it.
