Had bus trip on friday night which turned out to be really weird but was still a really awesome night. Woke up sat morning at 8am and couldn't get back to sleep so decided to carry on with removing this tree stump which was a stupid idea as digging out a tree stump while hungover in the heat doesn't go that well. Then headed to Kaneys 21st and talked about random sh*t like Llamas aye Phil

Spend Sunday sleeping and fitting some new halogens in the garage.

Bloody good weekend

Slapped a 2inch body lift in the surf, took about 1.5hrs.

At the same time replaced the front diff breather which had rubbed through on the chassis, now it runs all the way inside the cab to where the factory front speaker should be.
Worked out really well.

Also on Friday ordered some new rubber to replace my worn BFGs, went with Wranglers.

Funny you should ask, No probs with fuel/filler lines, shifter feels odd being lower but ill get used to it.

But the biggie I had was that my steering shaft was too short and I had to pack it out with washers and long bolts  till this afternoon when i found a longer one at a friends yard.
I had no idea they came in different lengths, some 40mm difference.
Check it first.

Otherwise, piss easy, i used my highlift jack under the running boards.
No pics this time, you wont need them.

Hanging round Oxford were you wjw?

My sister has almost identical photos of my nephew. He came at lunch time today announcing his digger experience. He had also been on a train, pony, tractor and numerous plastic toys but he didn't mention any of those...
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

Ok - my nephew is 2 coming on three. Sounds like it was an enjoyable day for the wee guys. The operator looks ideal for working with the wee fellas.

Ironic tho - he's all in high viz etc but allowing minors to operate! Good on him!
