Deadwood Safari National Trial 2007
Deadwood Safari National Trial 2007
Can someone in the know please confirm the location and start time of the Deadwood Safari round of the National Trials in Wgtn this coming weekend (13 October)?
As far as I'm aware it is off South Makara Rd, Makara, Wellington just before Terawhiti somewhere. I assume it will be sign-posted?

Yip the property its on is just before terawhiti station on the right. Parking is at Terawhiti Station. Pretty sure drivers breifing is at 8 so it will start soon after that.

I'll keep my eyes open, is it still painted Red?
Dr_PC's one I cant miss and I'll keep a look out for furgus's one assuming its still the same colour?
disclaimer: shit all those trucks all look the same to me anyway

in fact over 100 entries, weather fine after nice bit of wet, tracks should be a bit of a challenge, bodes well for a great day for both spectators and those competing.
good luck guys

Got a Daihatsu Something, hasn't got a Daihatsu engine.... or diffs.... and it doesn't have windows.... or doors.... but its got tyres....

Great rally but very dissapointing day for us. Started with a speed section which went off without a hitch then blew the rear diff in the second trying to hop up out of a creek. Started the repairs in the pits but they came to an end after we could not remove the short side axle which is fairly well jamed in there.
Hopefully Wanganui will go better for us.
