truckless and shall remain so till she who wears the pants says otherwise.................lol
Bring PRS if you have it, meet at 7.30 if you can, marshall briefing at 8, get yourself to Terawhiti and drive in and parking is in the big open field behind the house, the property next door (which some of you may know as pattersons farm which now has a new owner) is being used so head over and congregate at the big marquee (tent thingy).
Lunch is provided but from experience you may be stuck on an hazard past lunchtime or it may not be enough so bring extra food ie snacks and enough water for the day. if you want you can marshall all day or just do half a day if there are enough marshalls. I'll be floating round all day making sure the marshalls are ok and sorting out any issues that arise ....marshall or otherwise.....

Was at the site for most of the day, looking good, should be nice and muddy with lots of rolls. can everyone marshalling aim to get there 7.15 ready for a 7.30 briefing, PS parking is on the left not the right ie opposite the terawhiti station gate.

On behalf of the Valley club a big thanks to those that helped out today, loads of rolls in the morning
, went really well...having 96 trucks in the one event made things a bit stressed at times but otherwise the day went really well....
The next one is on the same date and place....mark it in your calender for next year.

and sig and skid and all the other officials put on a good event for all us lazy spectators :thumright:
I hope you weren't one of the wanker spectators that was caught trying to pour his beer into the fuel tank of the stewards quad.

I'm sure you wouldn't do that, but some fuckwit tried it.

Padantic bloody marshalls.... ONLY 4 foot away from the pegs and still they wouldn't give me the benifit of the doubt.
Well done guys and girls aprreicate your time and efforts every marshall I spoke to enjoyed their day I didnt hear any complaints apart from the poor bugger on the figure 8 time section in the morning and his complaint was that he had stuffed his back when he arrived at the site.
I would like to think that no competitior gave any of the marshalls crap unless it was with a smile

hey as one of the volunteer marshals i'd just like to say i really enjoyed the day......tho if i could have only convinced jerry to try hazard 2 now that woulda been funny.
only downer was one competitor wanted to dispute the fact that someone had achieved a zero on hazard 2 when he himself had only scored a 20. he left in huff after my fellow marshal (the one who was up the hill and saw it ) repeated that yes the other guy had indeed scored a zero. other than that a great day lots of spectacular machinery.
