I sent you a PM on the weekend but it can't have got through.

I need to ask you a question about using a picture of your truck, in a wee project I am putting together.
Cheers

Hi Alex.
Re using a picture of my Toyota fj40? Go for gold mate!
It would be good to hear what your plans are.
I guess as long as you're not an anti 4x4 person that will use it against me, I can't see any problems.

Cheers for that Pete, No I'm not going to use it against you, Mike has seen the pic, and reason for it, and I think he can vouch for it, don't want to say too much as it may take me a couple of weeks to finish what I'm doing.
It may take a couple of days as well, depending on how things click together![]()
It will become obvious soon.
Cheers

out of my 2200 odd points 1600 was due to revercing
Sorry for the newbie question but how does the scoring work?
I could see that as soon as forward motion stopped the stage was finished. Why do they make the course so tight when it's impossible for many to get around the very tight bends? Like that cabbage tree - OK if the vehicle had skid steering but for most they need to reverse. I noticed some stages had harder (tighter radius) bits for the vehicles equipped to make the sharp turns.
It may be easier if someone could just point me to an already published scoring system that these events use. Thanks - Tony.
Isn't it normal for people to learn from past mistakes? I dunno, I'm just guessing that answer would be YES!
