bj70 leaf springs wanted

Post by Thrupp »

I just bent a rear leaf spring in my bj70 hitting a rock. Does anyone have any springs they are willing to part with? Cheers.

Did the shackel invert to make the spring bend? All of my cruisers used to invert shackels till I put anti-inversion shackels on.... there well worth the cost of putting on

can I just straighten it again using heat? That seems like a dodgy approach though.

Nope, heat softens the metal, and the springs will fail (read: 'snap').

If you've bent a pack the best thing you can do is replace it - is it a lifted one or just standard?

I have some 70 series springs. What do you need front or rear?
