Hey guys thanks for the trip today especially the organisers Al, Rob, bill etc much appreciated. Sorry I couldnt meet up at the pub but have to get to a 21st.
Definitley learnt that some mud tyres would be advantageous  Will have to do it again sometime - maybe with slightly better weather

I'm keen for another trip.
Found a new dent in the rear quarter panel, seems I knocked a tree somewhere, and this was only a training trip

Good to see everyone is now fully trained in Terrano recovery techniques

Cheers guys, and see you on the next one.

MAD MAD MAD MAD.................. wifes gone now :)

Dam that was great fun guys when can we do it again?

I thought I put my hand up for a 4wd training trip not a......
- How wet one could get.
- How many times a Submarine can get stuck and recovered in one day
- O hang on no it was how many times a Toyota could recover a nissan, then it turned into a two stuck a nissan pulled em out, both of them at once! O the shame!! lol

Seriously though guys thats was a great fun day we all enjoyed. I'm looking forward to doing it all again. thanks to the guys who organised it.

In defence of the terrano, only truck to be everywhere. Most, actually nearly all of you did not try the holes I had to be recovered from, and those that did had also to be recovered. Nothing a set of difflockers won't fix. Beautiful weather  Thought the hail at the three stuck truck stage was an interesting situation I have never been in before. As I say a grade 3 can become a grade 5 in no time. 3hrs to go 500mtrs.   Might have to do a day trip over the labour weekend. Anyone for worsleys spur this afternoon.
rain, hail, sleet or snow, we go!

I must say, I was impressed with the Terrano, but I don't know if I will follow it once it has lockers

I have read about a few trips and this "albundy" who sounds mad, and I can now confirm this is in fact true:lol:

See you on the next one.
