funny how on one hand the Northern Outlook can blast 4WDers and on the other they advertise trips for them. I guess its a paid advertisement...

Me either... it was just my gut reaction to it :) ...but to be honest most of these North Canterbury trips are good value and get you into places you would otherwise be unable to access.

They are normally pretty tame, but I've been on a few of them and the scenery is pretty good.

I might just go along on this trip, was on the Mt Jon one a few months ago with the St.Andrews fundraiser.
Beaut views and as Steve said, it gets you into areas that you probably will not have a chance to go into again.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

So who, if anybody, is actually attending this trip?

We are going to go have a geez and support the preschool as it has been a few weeks since being offroad. :D

Yup, I will be there. Its a great area and im lookin forward to getting into some country that is normally off bounds.

One thing is there will be plenty of time to take photos as there will be heaps of traffic holdups, something as a driver you dont get to do very often, or admire the scenery.
