that looks like its going to be really cool and fast. I think the intercooler would be better hidden so people dont think it goes fast. Or maybe its better that people scratch their heads about why theres an intercooler there

Lol there isnt any other place where i can put the intercooler so thats why its going where it is

the size of the intercooler looks small and is small but the width is huge compared with useal bigger sized intercoolers only have a width of about 76mm but my intercooler how ever is 130mm wide so i have a huge advantage over say a intercooler that is longer and alot taller than mine, plus my size looks good on the jeep lol

Might get the intercooler and radiator Coated by HPC

just dont leave it out at night. there are dickheads that find mashing intercoolers in with sticks fun. has happened to a fnew of my mates now. plus make sure it is attatched better than just a few bolts. maybe weld it or something. my friends intercooler got ripped of the front of his car. he came back to find all the mounts and screw still attatched. just be carefull. leaving it visible like that is asking for trouble. dont get a tow hook through it either

START UP VIDEO:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSxEQF4DkwM

Sorry about the video & audio quality but did it with my smart phone 2mp so cant really expect much lol

That run was without the radiator & instead to the intercooler we just hocked up the in and out of the engine with some thick pipe other wise it wouldn't start because it is factory intercooler & no exhuast

we got the fuel lines all done

went to repco to get about 10m of fuel line and for the efi fuel pipe they said $50 PER METRE   that would come to about $500

asked if they had anything cheaper and just got normal fuel pipe not efi but he said it should hold very good, and $280 for new lead set   decided not to get that as of yet and to shop around, facet fuel pump was $175, 4-7psi & 132litres/hour

I love the sound of the turbos winding up when accelerating and turbo compressor surge when you decelerate seems like i might need a b.o.v cause the engine being generation 3 it runs 12psi boost :D

EFI fuel hose is absolutely a must between the pump and engine, normal fuel line will give out and then you will be kicking yourself. if the pump is near the engine then you only need EFI hose from the pump to the motor, if the pump is down the back by the tank then you can run stainless tube as the main length and only use the EFI hose to conect the pump to the S/S tube, and from tube to pump on the other end then from pump to fuel rail..... did that make sence ?.... did to me

yep! sent the jeep off for panel and paint so that will be a couple of months, engine parts will hopefully be upgraded e.g. td04e hybrid turbo 22psi, intercooler, intake plenum, piggyback and lots more

so watch out for it at autosalon auckland *fingers crossed*

That's an odd combo. Toyota powered Jeep.. Power to weight ratio would be good! What's the new colour scheme going to be? Are you pulling the motor out to do the engine bay?

so as you can see the jeep is painted, engine in, running with front mount intercooler, 2.5" exhaust.

needs to go for a cert once i get 2" spacers so i can turn the front wheels and so that the back wheels dont rub, think i may have found some :)

lots and lots of power, i'll make a video and post it up for all you guys to see

dont quote me but i believe that 27mm is as much as you can go with wheel spacers

Actually you can get larger spacers certified.
I know of several vehicles with 30mm and larger spacers in use, legally certified. Even some of the winch competition trucks are using them.
Most refer to them as adapters................
