Just a reminder that if any of you are at a loose end this weekend that there is a winch challenge happining at Whangarei this weekend,Two classes,club and competition,Should be good to watch...

I just got back. Bloody good comp, had a great time!!!! Thanks to all the marshals and competitors. Now it’s back to the shed.....

89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered

gotta be the longest winch of all time.
Not many trucks but a great venue and good spectator points. Mustbe something about these winch guys though all nissans with one lonley crusier

Went pretty well, beat the only toyota and didnt come last. Would have been nice to have done the other stages on the last day but shit happens.
Yael recovered pretty well from stage 7... thank god for a long winch rope.
Coxsy, I can now say that your ground anchor doesnt work...
will drop it round to you some time this week after i clean it

Yep,A couple of CVs a pto drive and a hub or two,Either Kerry is turning into a real rough Bugger or Warren needs arm restraints to keep him away from the front locker switch

You should have done what I did and not even wire the front locker up! I'm sure that is the ONLY reason I still have cv's in one piece.
