shocks for surf

anyone know if ac delco shocks are any good? found a cheap set for the surf but want to know if they are any good

Are they standard travel or long travel? Standard bore or big bore? Gas charged or oil only? Warranty? etc...

AC Delco are a bulk manufacturer - and shocks are not something I was aware they did...

What do you want them to do? If you want good offroad performance and long travel then I suspect they won't do it. If you want something to stop the truck bouncing along the road then they might be ok.

Oh, and whats cheap? $50? $100? $200? Bear in mind you usually get what you pay for.

don't actually know couldn't find them on the ac delco web site. guy said back ones extended they are 300mm, compressed 180 which sounds way to small, he might have measured the fronts. will ask again about length. $150 no reserve for all 4 on t.m, $200 buy now. want them to perform better than the standards off road.
