I had some organic beer when I was there, some kind of green dude on it....can't remember what it was though. Not bad though......just remember something about a weird green guy.

Could that be "Green Man"?
I remember trying some about two years back, but can't remember if it was good, bad or indifferent..

That might give him reasons to not touch it, he would know how the previous owner has "abused" it....

Damn that's one fine wagon. Pete, you could do a damn sight worse than buying DB's Saf. think some sort of Ford, they are badge engineered things. marketed in America as fords. but DB's truck is a well kept and well performed Safari. Wonder why it was never turboed? DB?

When I got this my second year of university, the economics of school and racing just didn't jive so I just kept the sled for fun. I just got a 144" track for it and I'm waiting for some rail extensions to fit the larger track. She's got a bit of a coolant leak, but should get that fixed before we go. I also have an 04 ski-doo summit 600 144" but I'm selling that, before i leave. I'm trying to find a 700 efi for my sno pro, but they're pretty pricy. then it would be a pretty sweet sled. Nice avatar pic, what do you drive?

Googled your sleds, they look like FUN, no doubt high maintenance though. Have you thought of selling your Ski doo here?

My truck is a 93 SWB Toyota Prado, standard except for the 2nd locker and some cylinder head porting for improved midrange torque. These trucks run the 3 litre turbo diesel, nice and peppy. Has also got the solid axle up front with the larger CV's and coils all round.
Photo was me working just as our ski club was about to open, spinning all 4 chains in about 2' of snow.

So you will be engineering for Macraes, what discipline? Mine is Mechanical.

Fear not, Dunedin has one of the best micro brewers in the country - Emersons. Makes even Greenman taste average.

db, nice very nice.

IcedJohnno, Looks like some fun. I think I might just bring the ski-doo over. I'm thinking I don't want a project with a seld really....Didn't seem to be any arctic cat dealers anywhere except us and canada. I'll be doing mining engineering out there. I'm a big fan of turbos, makes soo much sense on motors.

I think I found something I like:
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 955845.htm

Seems like it would be a bit large for the trails though lol.

I was trying to make a trademe account, but I don't have a tele number. Do they actually check up on those?

So can anyone tell me what the real deal is with left hand drive rigs over in NZ...? I see alot of them for sale but are they legal to drive on the roads? Or are they as you guys have dubbed them trailer queens?
