Hi

Im looking for anytype of cheap leaf springs that i can mod to fit my land rover the land rover is not going to be road legal so it can be anything realy.

but i want it to be lifted and flexy and some where in the b.o.p region if posible.


It will just be used for mudding rocking climbing and hunting.

The rover is prity light so yea any one got any ideas???

I just need the front one as ive got my old hilux surf leafs:D

why do you need to lift it? I used to fits 32's with no rubbing, 35's would fit with guard chopping, but I wouldnt advise anything bigger than 32's with series rover axles unless its a salisbury.

Land rover leafs are perfectly fine for flex, and are very arced. surf leaves are very flat and wont work.

the rover springs ive got are f*cked there sitting on the bump stops well 2 cm away maby.

And i just want to learn more so thats prity much the hole reason why i got the rover is to learn more about modding and stuff.

I have a set of LWB front and rear springs you can have if you want, but I think the bolts are rusted in and need to be drilled out.

LR leaf springs can be retensioned as along as not main leaf not broken.
Can even do it yourself with an anvil and sledge hammer. I used an old truck engine block one time.
Seperate leafs and re-arch each of them in turn with the sledge hammer. Do main first to get the correct curve and then do the others to suit. Fit new centre bolt and bushes. If you want to lighten the springs you can leave a leaf or two out.
Works well but best if paired up with new shocks at the same time.

yea the main leaf is borken its sitting on a bit of metal so it dosn't tilt to a side lol
