Yes I agree, it was a fantstic day out. Weather, company, everything was perfect.
Nice to see lots of stuck trucks too, but I will not dwell on the trip leader and tail end Charlie's escapades. Im sure someone else has a more descriptave way of putting it across. nuff said!

PS, I still need to find a local who will widen my Ali roof rack, if anyone knows someone who uses, works with and welds ali, PM me please.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

Ok, I have added the photos we took today to an album, I have opened the permissions so anyone else who took pics from the day can add them to this album, helps keep them all together in one place.

Ok so I drown the truck (forgot to seal the air cleaner) but I fixed it quick  then totaly bellyed out (kiwipete couldn't even pull me off) so winched myself off then just before the end poped a tyre off the bead (10 meters before bubbles did the same)

Oh and yes I like to swim as most of you guys noticed today and like deep water

But all in all it was brilliant day with brilliant people I hope you guys come on the next trip that I am planing for late March (new river to me) but thats all I will say about that at the moment   .

I accomplished my goal
Image
now you cant say that you havnt been stuck following me

And I will let the tail end charlie (Tim) tell you what he did

We were going up stream(passed you guys not far from the bridge)and we had a few interesting crossings,no tow's needed but some reversing/repositioning needed to get across.driving into the flow doesnt help but have always done that trip going up stream with higher water level than today and not had any problems, still a good day out and shoes still dry :D
