Post by Dutch89 »

What is the story with a PRS and a CB. I have bought a CB from trade me thats UHF and i see i think if i go to Duplex mode i can communicate to people with a PRS i think (channels 1 to 8) But channels 9 to 40 and for std CB UHF and then i wont be able to chat with PRS CB's ? below is the set i have bought.
Or do i not have a clue what im talking about

the set you have brought is a PRS Uhf set. it has nothing to do with cb at all. it has duplex function on channels 1-8. this allows you to make use of a repeater which can be handie if your wanting to use it over long distances.
