LandCruiser fuel consumption

Howdy,
Jus pondering on a 60 series cruiser as everyday transport, kayaks on roof, bikes on back, camping gear etc. etc. Preferably the 6 cylinder diesel. Anyone got any thoughts? In particular I'd like to know realistically how many ks per litre they'll do on a run. Also thinking bout a Safari possibly, also the big 4.2 diesel but I'll post in the nissan area about that.

Hi Greg

I have an 80 Series Cruiser diesil that does 7.7km per litre or 13ltrs per 100kms.

Doesn't seem to make any difference to the load carried.
