High lift jack winch kits
High lift jack winch kits
Has anyone made a high lift jack winch kit? What do you need to make them? Cheers
I have one, they use rated chain and clevis claws to walk down the chain. They are great for short pulls but I would go for a "Turfer" for long pulls.
(Or a vehicle mounted one when I can afford it)
My 10c for what it's worth

There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

The winch kit can be used for a continous pull (not limited to 5 meters) by swapping ends as you get to the end of the chain (requires suitable winch extensions). Winch forever with your Hi-Lift (or until you've earned a beer or 5)

I agree.
I have a 2nd chain that is 10 meters long and have pulled the truck most of that length
Is is slow but better than being stuck.
