After rolling it I've had it straighten. Then after removing the roof permanently I've found it great for helping me shooting varmints, just, the colour of it made them run. So I've had it painted this colour hoping it will blend in with the back ground a little better.

lookin good pete
Cheers Matt.
I won't tell the partner that` they're colour blind. That was my excuse for painting it.
And as I hardly ever wear deoderent I'd say it would be the smell of natural pete that would send them running.

Pete looks good. They do see in greyscale so yellow will stick out (doesn't match much over here) and with Hunting just remember to turn off your cellphone.
Getting to a valley ridge with the wind in your face and seeing 3 deer over the ridge in a clearing, me and a mate were just getting a good line, being quiet and slow when "ring ring you have 3 new messages".
Oh and never take the GF's foxy for a walk in the sounds, it took off into the bush and came raceing back and droped a little piglet at my feet! I only just got out of the way fron the SOW chasing the foxy! and that little bugger was so pleased with what he found he wanted to go get another!
I was so supprised had no gun leash rope or knife (for the foxy) no way I was going to jump on mum she would have killed me. I ended up having to carry the foxy back to the boat and boy was he not happy at that.

Wow Steve. Sounds like you were bloody lucky there! If only you had of been carrying a gun. You might have had plenty of ham this xmas.
I own a staffy. She's pretty well behaved. The only reason I refused to take her on hunting trips was her farts. Man, they are so bad, words can't describe. It's not so bad now the roofs off though.

Just do everything thats not green in matt black and it'll look awesome. I think his green was called "Olive Drab". But since his name was Matt I just called it Matt Green
Steve
Very nice there Steve!!
That's the look I'm after. I did mine on the cheap though. I only had it painted on the outside. Original colour still on the inside.
I was round at the paint and pannel shop just earlier. it's almost done. He's painting all the shiny bits matt black. I recon it looks so cool now.
The rag top gets made in the next couple of weeks. That's promised to be done before xmas. :bounce:
I'll throw some more pix of it up later today.

Hey Pete,
Why dont you paint the inside with Rhino coating (Hippo liner)? Only costs $100 and as Steve said the Black coating will look mint with the matt green. Also gives a easy to wash surface

Yeah i think I'll do that. It looks ok, but having it yellow on the inside is a little lame.
