What dates are you here? There's a crowd from ChCh (about 30 trucks) visiting over 28 Dec - 4 Jan, so you could probably tag onto a couple of trips. The fire risk is getting pretty high now, so forestry areas will probably be out, which limits things a bit. There's 3 choppers out fire-fighting on the hills near Rarangi right now...
