I don't like them, been through 3 sets in 5000km, both Noltech and Nolathane, would stick with factroy rubber ones if you can get them at a reasonable price.

Hi all, dumb question, but order bushes from overseas or local genuine nissan supplier.Get the shakes from time to time around the 80km per hour mark from a cold start.Pull over stop,go again and the shakes are gone.Is this what the panhard bushes do when flogged out?Nice meeting you at the gundog trials Mitch. What sort of money are a set of rubber bushes normally worth?

Yip, worn panhard bushes can cause this, also sheck the panhard mounting nuts are tight, and front radius arm nuts where it mounts to the chassis are tight

I was told the same by the local dealer, try here

Freight is a killer, but if you get a few people buying them it'll be cheaper, or if you know someone heading over on holiday, get some brought back.

There is a place in auckland called the mount shop,They sell genuine nissan bushes at half the price. Im sure they can frieght any where in the country.
I know they definatly Sell panhard, front controll and rear controll arm bushes.
Adjustable panhard rods, Im pritty sure the tough dog ones come with genuine bushes and are heaps cheaper than buying of repco etc. Last time I priced one it was about $350. You can get these from Delta 4x4 in Blenheim :D

Adjustables will need to be certified too, so add another $350 odd on top if you werent already planning to have it done.
If they are that price from Eddie in Blenheim, you can almost guarantee you'll get them cheaper elsewhere.

Hi mudhaw.Have you got an address or web/email contact for that mount shop in Akld? Are these bushes easy enoungh to remove and instal? Was thinking of punching out old bushes, emery the ferrous surfaces graphite grease and a bench vice.Or is it better to let the pros do this?

Part numbers of Panhard Rod bushes from Nissan.....
Top (small hole) 55135-01J01
Bottom (big hole)55135-01J10

I've used Tough Dog adj panhard rods so they already have the genuine bushes in them.

Getting bushes and body mounts from AU is far cheaper...a little over half price, plus freight.

I'll try and remember to get the phone number for the mount shop from work tomorow.
As for replacing the controll arm bushes, they can be stubborn to get out.
If you can get a big enough gap in the rubber to get a hack saw blade in, cut the outter shell and it should pretty much fall out. We use a 3 phase hydrolic press. They will press in a lot easyer than the come out, If you dont have a press get the old bushes out find some one with a press, they press in real easy and it should be very cheep. Getting them out is the hard part.
Pan hard rod bushes should press in and out with a good vice, but can be fiddley :?
I hope this helps
