Pretty sure a young sparky owns that. If not, he has a clone version.

I had 12 lights on my 80 series at one time, 4 on the roof, 4 spots on the front bar and the 4 factory lights.

Yeah it's got a little cancer nibs but nothing to serious.

Where they were before I had them moved (out the back) was a worse place nibs. Not only could you smell the fumes easier but the pipes would of got hit real easy (in the supermarket car parks)

Sure. I should get it back tomorrow.

I preferred the look straight out the back really. But with the soft top off and your foot right up it you can smell the fumes where you never did going out the sides. And like I said to nibs. Though the pic doesn't really show it properly. The last ones out the back where to prone to hitting. As it is the back bump stops used to plough banks when you go down them.

I've had bars put on the front and sides of the truck but I've done nothing to the rear end for protection.
So next year I'm planning on getting that nailed.

When you've got shit loads of lights going on when you're moving, though people can see you coming, your lights are that bright that you can't see any other lights but your own. So when you see someone it's like, WTF where did you come from!!!

Threw the cover on the motor the other day. 8)
Only reason I hadn't bothered before is I thought it might trap the heat. So I'll see how it goes.
Looks a little more finished with it on. Just need to paint the inside of the engine bay. (and everything else yellow  ) One day wen the motor comes out for what ever reason.

Hope everyone's having a great labour weekend. :D

Ok. Well that's good news. I've had no problems so far.

Got my truck back from the Cert fella earlier today.

He failed me on a wof. I asked him to do one with the Cert knowing he couldn't put it on till the cert badge was on. Anyway, it failed only due to a broken indicator len but it flew through the cert. (rear brakes/beadlocks/hub spacers/exhaust pipe noise)

I'm stoked!!
I'll be more happy once the Cert plate is riveted on and the wof on the windscreen.

This might show a couple of people.
Thought I'd get off my ass and do some work on the thing myself.

Throwing in a new steering idler kit today.
Waiting on the kit to arrive at Butlers. Hope to have it back together before the weather craps itself.

Finally got my Cert plate on for the extra mods since the last lot.
There isn't a lot of room left for anymore mods on that plate n ow.
They did a typo. So a new one has to replace this one.
Just a change from 4sp to 5spd.
Then it's complete.

I'm thinking of modifying me exhaust headers just for a little extra grunt when I'm going through the dirty puddles in the supermarket car parks.

I've spoken with the cert fella. He says the ones pictured below are legal. (well when they're closed) But there's no problem having them on the truck. So that's cool.

But on the sly. What I would like is either air, cable or electric operated ones from in the cab. 8) But I know that's not allowed.

What do you fellas recon?
Any ideas?

I got the pix from the following website.

I used to use them on my HQ that had a tunnel rammed 350. They were cable operated from in the cab. I liked them, especially when opened up at about 7500rpm............. 8) 8) 8)

Got an extra few ponies on the dyno but it was more for the sound factor
