A bit more cost from Waitawheta showing up.
On my trip to the coast last month the winch decided not to work in the chasm.
I pulled it to pieces today to find that orange yellow color found in the Kaimai's over everthing.

The bearing at the brush end had siezed solid resulting in the housing getting flogged out and the armature rubbing on the field windings so I have built it back up with epoxy resin and hopefully it will work.

If it works it will save me many dollars
Cheers Richard

Seeing that all you HEATHENS praying doesn't help I thought I will get this Fu-ken thread back on topic to teach you c--ts a lesson
The Landrover club didn't like the look of me dropping into the chasm so they had a working bee first.

Hi Richard, did you not go to Sunday service this morning

.
At the risk of going off topic , Maurice was telling me about a Hi-Lux that has just been Modified at Brightwater that has had a supercharger/turbo set up on it, I have heard of this set up on cars but a std 2.8 oil burner ????. Can you add to this ?? if not I'm sure you soon will

.
NOW GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES AND REPENT,
FITZY.

Hi Fitzy
10 hail mary's later and all is well on the western front.
I think the hilux that Maurice is talking about belongs to a painter. If it is him he has been to have a look at mine. The Guy who did the work lives around the road from me and has made a very tidy job. He has hotted up lots of rally cars and has tried to do the hilux the same and it hasn't really worked.
Somehow and I don't know why unless the air cleaner is too small he has got vacuum when it shuts off. He asked me about the pully size on the crank. I told him to make it 215mm but instead only made it 185mm so it has only got 5 lbs max boost.
I think they are going back to the drawing board.
CALL IN NEXT TIME YOU ARE UP AND WE CAN PRAY TOGETHER
Cheers Richard

Hi Shane,
A bit of historic video. I showed Glen and John the intended route through the chasm in Xmas 06
Glen couldn't believe it was possible.
Here is Glen clearing the dead tree at the top for the first time and looking at the intended route.

Cheers Richard

This is how easy it is to get the Hilux stuck for 2 hours and break a CV.
On the Charming track at Seddonville on the West Coast.
