How much would you want for the other bar, I know someone with a Surf who might be interested.

Is there a plan to open up the bonnet for a air scoop for intercooler?

Most certainly. I think the owner is trying to get his hand on a new Hilux scoop

Hey Tom, very cool as usual but how far is the front axle moved forward..? looks like quite a bit and would do wonders for approach angle

Thank you

Rears up front pushes the axle forward about 75mm. Stops the wheels scrubbing on the firewall too

I run them in my wreakage and a few trucks have left my shop with them.
They seem to be fine. 9 stage adjustable on dampening, the difference is huge. They also have a twin wall design so will operate fine with a dent in them.
Cheers Tom
Re: Tomsoffroad & Customs
That looks familiar, even the same colour!
Can you flick me a PM with a price for the steering dampener bits? Brackets for both ends and the dampener itself?
Cheers,
Pete

Re: Tomsoffroad & Customs
I bought a set of bars off Tom about a year or so ago and made up my own outriggers to mount them to the chassis.
Excellent bars made by Tom, would recommend his work to anyone.
Just so it's clear, the welds on the chassis mounts are mine not Toms
Matt.

Re: Tomsoffroad & Customs
Glenn's bought his Surf back for some suspension mods.
3 link front and rear, coils, ranchos, Safari axles. Should be sweet
Front needs fully welding etc. Haven't touched the rear yet
Top link chassis mount
Top link diff mount, much more bracing to happen here

Had a break from that and trimmed some guards

Re: Tomsoffroad & Customs
Cheers Tom, Just flicked another coat of silver on...flares and bars go back on tomorrow. Had a better look tonight and truly an OUTSTANDING job mate. I've had work done in the past by panelbeaters who were highly recommended and in all honesty...your work has left them for dead!
