While I was at the place I get me holden bits from this was parked up there. It's Ian's LS1 powered Big Horn.
Was interesting chatting to him about all the trouble he's had with it. Yep, same place repowered this as well. Poor bugga.

It's pretty mean. "AND I THINK IT'S PRETTY COOL".

man your brothers bar is sweet- except in that pic it looks like the RHS hoop is a little on the piss

Would be 100% better if the lower rail was bent to meet up with the rail above it at the tips :-)

Adam should of looked through more 4X4 mags to get a better idea what works I recon.
But his mind works more on what's practicable first, looks later.

He did have a cyclone gate as a bull bar on his long wheel base 50 series cruiser years ago. (his first cruiser) He loved that agricultural look aye.
I think he's got a bit of both with this one. And like I said, if he's happy with it, that's all that matters.

I did say, "maybe break some shit" Euan. skid will quote me on that.
But I'm only keen to do that stuff close to home. Not on a 2000k trip.
So yeah, nah.
i know guys will want me to take the 40 through some tracks they know I'll get stuck in.
I'm not heading up with my truck to go off roading sorry fellas. I'm heading up to catchup with friends along the way. (I got 2 friends, you're one so i got two stops  )
i could take the Holden. I'd prefer to drive that on the open road anyday over the 40. But I thought if I stop and visit ORE chaps they wouldn't be interested in that. So it's a bit of a show off really i guess.

Tuning the LS1 ecu, "in real time"

I'm real excited about this latest mod. It's still in the planning stage.

But in short. The reason for the mod is simple. I want to be able change a power curve on my own and do it "in real time" on both my V8's. (LS1 5.7L FJ40/Holden VX which has the LS2 6L but is controlled by a LS1ecu)

I'm fairly happy with the FJ40's tune but not at all happy with the Holden's tune. Spent heaps of coin trying to get it right.

Well fark me, I got told about a package today that allows you tune things on the fly called "Roadrunner". How it works is. The system is grafted onto the PCM's main circuit board in place of the original flash ROM.

Just check out this link below.
I'm buzzing about this...
