I like the shroud that came out very cool, the ramped corners will add alot of strength

Is there a custom inlet manifold hiding under there? More of your work?

Tom is a man of many hidden talents...has fabbed up quite a bit of stuff for me and has improved on aftermarket suppliers gear :wink: .

Modified inlet manifold came from UFI in Perth.

I have access to a nice alloy pulse mig now and would be really keen to have a go at modifying an inlet manifold........ actually I thing ill do one on the Cruiser :idea: And anyone else whose keen :mrgreen: :wink:

Another airbox, snorkel package. K&N does the cleaning :D
1uz in a YN65 Hilux. 3" airbox to throttle body, 3.5" snorkel. Sounds mean under throttle :mrgreen:

Hey Tom, where did you get the 3.5" bends from..? for the snorkel.. Been thinking of doing similar.. :mrgreen: to get the extra 10 or so hp out of mine.. :roll: also main reason is I have to go 6 point cage and need to move my snorkel.. :cry:

Noice!! Thats exactly what i've been getting at..plenty of room between the airbox and filter which is what the zd30 box lacks!

Don't what Tom does for bends but I just bought a 3.5" donut from Chase exhaust.

Definitely thought about it. Still havent got my head round how to makes it work. Thinking if I was to keep the lexan lid I'd have to make the box 2 piece to clamp the panel filter. .... or maybe clamp the panel filter with the lid :idea:

either way.
two piece like factory setup with clamp half way down the 'box'. window on top.
or make the lid as an insert to clamp the filter and fasten it at the top.

Its intercooler cored custom made. Bout 100mm thick. Monstrous :lol:

Hey mate...keen to get some pricing to do a 2" lift and snorkel supplied and fitted for a '96 3.0 diesel Surf.

Then got back onto the Prado. It needed a brace between the coilover struts. So in true redneck fashion I got carried away :mrgreen: There simply wasn't enough room under the bonnet so.............................. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I'll post pics of the bonnet tomorrow night when I've finished hacking :wink:
