If someone can confirm they will have a spare spectator seat on the day (Maybe with the video crew DieselBoy ?)
Isaac can probably come along to be official photographer for all :)

Nah, the cruza's staying put in the car park, i put the road tyres back on it on wednesday. Dans Missus is stayin home, so Sarahs gonna play it by ear an see if she can score a ride with some one, otherwise just get busy walkin

We got the finishing touches done tonight, managed to squeeze a NS70 Battery under the hood, fitted a new top rad hose, fitted a new rear wheel bearing, finished off the rear disc conversion with some longer wheel studs and bled the system, mounted the spare wheel and tool box on the deck, hooked up the volt meter, fitted the rope horns, filled the tank with Avgas................

...........AND REALISED I HAVEN'T PAID THE ENRTY FEE   :x :x

Any chance i can give someone the cash on the day?? Its a bit late now for an internet banking transfer

... two questions

1) is it ok to have 2 x 0.9 kg fire extinguishers instead of the 2kg one?

2) i have a hard top suzuki with no rear seat, do i need to have a cargo barrier between the front and rear, if everything is secured properly?

Hi Re Fire extinguishers,Yep thats good as gold
Re cargo barrier,Thats fine for this comp as long as everything in the rear is secured well .

Repco has a special on 2.3kg fire extinguishers for $49.95 (or something).

All this rain makes me smile, the park will be a lot of fun for people who have never been there before.  :P

i always go waikoukou rd ( right at bp station on SH 16) then Left onto Taylor road which goes all the way through to Peak road, then Right onto Peak Road to get to the park.

Hi Wopass
Old north rd is quicker but if your towing theres a pig of a hill to climb,So if youve got a trailer on the back go Taylor rd way .Dion and i are staying the night ,we will be up there bright and early on Sat morning we need to change a couple of tracks after all this rain theres one or two bogs we have to take out otherwise its going to turn into a hard 30mtr winch (will kill lowmounts),At the moment just driving around the park is like doing a stage ,we should be back at the woolshed by 3-30_4pm..Steve
