I also got a few chances to try out the new MAXTRAX while playing in costa, we tried them 1st on a little zuk that was stuck in a rut or 2, and once we positioned them in the right spot it was away... then I got the cruiser well stuck in a deep rut, so i placed one under the offending wheel/hole and it enabled me to climb out of it no worries!! they are a great addtion to take along if you cant self recover!!!

Euan, thats a shamless plug for your companies products!!

I love it! good stuff

But seriously, the Maxtrax worked really well, once the tire gets the smallest bite on them, your away. Dunno about the $500 price tag tho....mebbe we need a NZ manufacturer, with a little less margin added on

badnuz wrote:was a total blast, you welly boys better not hide under your blankies next time we go in there, it was rather wet to start the day so we stuck to the easier ""access" type tracks which in themsleves were somtimes testing!!after a regroup in the bottom play area where everyone tried a bog or 5 we stoped for luch at the hut, where a few repairs were undertaken and tires were re-seated onto rims.. we headed off again, but the toll was starting to show on some trucks, so we dwindled down to just a handfull. to end the day Wizard2, DBWracing and myself quickly did a reverse run of the mornings track. damage to the cruiser was limited to a big stove in the passengers door, realigning my rear bar ( sorry moonhopper) some dodgy lights.... oh and a suspect 2nd gear in the box.. I have a few pics to upload maybe tomorow :)

Waiting.............waiting..................waiting!!!
