With all due respect, what is ya issue Bob????

I believe this whole idea for this trip was Jerrys idea, and one which us Palmy bunch fully appreciate.

And the fact that Jerry has asked Reece to run an Aka's trip for us, which Reece and Marty have organised is fantastic

I did not see anything in Jerrys post which requires your attack on him, it was not targeted at Safari pete but rather was pointing out why we all need to be properly equiped and prepared.

I don't think any experienced 4 wheeler would disagree with him

No problem there, but the Aka's part of the trip won't happen with out it being a run sorted by an approved trip leader. Hence why any part of the Aka's trip on the Sat has to meet with the conditions laid out by Reece, as the qualified leader, not just random hearsay.

My comments are driven by Jerry's timing of HIS comments,
coming hard on the heels of the previous discussion.

Nigel has answered the one about the trip running etc.

Finally back online after a pc rebuild.....I hate vista

Just to clarify ..... yes I did organise this weekend and yes I did ask Reece if he was keen to run an Aka's trip for the Palmy crew, Kiwi4x4 are only involved in running the aka's part of the trip, the Rallywoods part was and still is an ORE trip and I am still the organiser/contact for this and the overall weekend.

As for my comments they were of a general nature and not a directed attack at Pete...., and are relevant whether it be a private trip or a club (kiwi or other), I have always focussed on safety on any of my organised and led trips....

This weekend is all about hosting the Palmy guys in our usual playground, I would suggest we get back on topic and cut all the BS, we are all here to work together and enjoy our recreation..... , remember we will have a representative from the 4x4 action magazine with us that weekend as well...

Rallywoods will be open from 4pm on the Friday...I will post up more detail on this closer to the time.....

Just an inquiry at this stage because we have made bookings for the following weekend on the Westcoast.

Is there room for another truck on this trip ?

Would any one in Wellington have storage for my Simex tyres until my big North Island trip in Oct ?

Would like to have a play at rallywoods.

Cheers Richard

Booking across ditch paid for.

Arriving in Wellington 1.15pm Friday 14th and returning 10.25am monday 17th

A question. I have been told Rallywoods suits radials more than Simex.

True or false

That won't be hard to do because my new diff parts haven't arrived yet so will have to drive like a Nana

I will bring a spare diff just in case and plenty of rope to get towed. And I'm sure I won't hear the end of it but thats easily fixed by taking out my earing aids and a bottle of gin to drown my sorrows. :D :D :D

Looking forward to meeting some new faces
