Hi all,
I have been able to reproduce the stage times in a format which, while they may be a bit small, (you may need a magnifying glass or a wide format printer) they are all there at:

Re: manukau 4wd winch challange
Hi guys,
Really good to see the videos. The varied terrain is shown well. We were somewhat nervous about the steep stream drops in Stage 1 and Stage 2 but the videos show that the problems were easily overcome by those who looked first.
However, there has been another placing change in Club. The Brassey DQ on Stage 4 has been overturned and is in fact a 10 point penalty.
What appears to have happened was Scott overshot the finish box and 'broke the tape'. This was reported to an Event Committee member as being 'Out of the Box'. That person interpreted it as being all 4 wheels out of the box which is a DQ. On investigation I found this to be a simple 'peg & tape' issue as 2 or 3 wheels were still inside the box. A 10 pointer.
The Brasseys also incurred another 10 pointer on that stage for loose gear (dropped ground anchor).
A close inspection of the rules reveals that if you drop recovery gear on a stage and don't collect it before the finish box then a 10 point penalty applies. If you stop before the finish box and collect it then no penalty applies.
I'll put up new scores on the M4WD Site soon.
Regards,
Dave
