Surely you're trying to be cheap kiwipete??
I think it's only $5 entry for spectators/sausage testers and it goes to a good cause
Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

You miss the point, if i am to be helping out in the pits area again as I did last year, with the cooking etc, I expect to be able to park in the pits area too!
Same deal as last year.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along. Ph 0212078472
Get there early Pete, when the vehicles are being scrutineered and you should get a possie. You parked there last year, I remember sitting on my roof rack having a beer and chatting to you about terrano's .

I'm trying to sort out a favour from one of the guys at work, he is a part time camera man for the TAB and Sky, and thinks he can get a broadcast quality camera for the event.
Would be ideal for capturing those precious ORE moments
I may have to pay for him to get in and possibly feed him, but it could be well worth it I think
I will keep all the camera hogs up to date

Update: Mr camera man has booked two cameras on the day for us, and is happy to spend his day filming crazed 4WDers playing in the mud
That man deserves a beer

Entries have closed off as of yesterday. They are full. So if you haven't got your entry in, come watch us play and pull your finger out earlier next year.

Bugga!!
I thought I was entered but alas I wasn't.
I'll have to pull finger earlier next year.
My co driver's partner is expecting a baby that weekend anyway. So i had a bad feeling.
Wrong PR you win by default! Maybe the Chev powered toymotor will have to come out and play another time could be best out of 3 the Nissans need all the help we can give them.
Now that would be an interesting match up if we can get our 4wd playground setup in Canterbury. Anyway you are better than me I am sitting watching poor hilux doesn't stand a chance without you to pull it out.

Its good to see a Toymotor driver finally bowing down to the mighty NISSAN
yeah I feel a bit gutted I'm not in the event (even if it is just for fun). But I will come along just to see another Nissan getting towed out of trouble. (as i did a few weeks back) That was PRICELESS! And I got it on tape
I'm sure there will be other times we can have a match up PR. But I do feel a little guilty having so much horsepower on tap and lockers all round. Maybe I should give you an advantage (to be fair) but then again. I'm sure you're a better off roader than I am.

Really? a 454?? YEAH!!! :thumright:
Injected or carb?
That would take some beating. I'd be interested in knowing what drive train you'd put behind it.

Wow didn't know that bit about nissans! You even can predict when they are going to blow up!

Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.
The engine would be the cheap part....feeding it is the hard bit...mate of mine had a blown 427 & it did 6MPG.....but you did get there real quick though

I better see if the LR turns over, have to swap out the throttle cable as well. Other than that fill the oil and check the petrol and she should be all go
If anyone can't make it to the event (as in entering, not watching) for what every reason please call me. I'll but your entry fee off you and enter my truck. I was gutted I missed out.
I'll be there early anyway, just incase someone can't make it.
I have heard on the grapevine that some entries are not going to make it. I would ring the guy on the friday/sat befroe the event and see. That's how I got my entry last year.
