I went with a K&N panel filter in my custom airbox.
The intake on the manifold is 4inch. So i went with one 4inch snorkel pipe.

Anyone used them before??

I would put them on 7" rims myself(unless the 8"s are bead locked),less chance of popping off bead.they would work super well at pucker park :D might give you a run for your money :o

Thats a good point i had mine on 8s and they were to wide for the tyres and they popped off alot so i changed to 7s and never had anymore problems.

What's the box made out of? Like the idea of enclosing the existing filter.

I'm changing my street rims to some alloy, "Black Rock" ones. I just not sure between these two 15 X 8 ones. You can't get them in 10 inch.
What do you lot recon?
Black with brushed alloy sides?
Or all alloy?

I'd prefer 10 inch to Jase. But they don't do them. Well. Their older stock that looks more like a micky thompson rim comes in a 15 X 10. But I'm not a fan of that style.

this would be my choice

old school looking FJ40 wheel

would need to modify centre cap slightly and possibly a repaint in white or whatever colour you desire

available in 10" as well

has that got enough flex it in when you rev the motor? A big chev like that would move around a bit wouldn't it?

I hear ya skid. But mine is far far away from original.

You got a good point Pete.
He'll find out sooner or later.
I would of made the flex pipe twice as long.
But we've watched the motor flex on throttle and it doesn't move a lot. I guess once the engine mounts wear it will be a different story.
