bit of an update, taking it back for cert on monday.
Got the pto finished an working so bought some new rope
35m of plasma goodness

Wound it on this avo, drums about 2/3 full so could probably fit about 50m if needed

My electric fan an its rubbish shroud wasnt cutting it so I bought a 16" flex fan with a viscous hub, put it on last weekend an made a sheetmetal shroud for it out of 1.6mm panel steel. Made it in 2 pieces to make it easier to take on an off.



Other than that just been mucking around with a few other things, rubber flares etc getting ready for the cert

Looking good Fakey, you'll love the plasma.. I switched on a 24hr challenge and it's like.. sooo easy,strong,light blah blah compared to steel.. But like steel when you leave the pto ingauged.. steel will snap and plasma won't..lol so make sure the pto is off or you'll do what I did and rap the whole front bar work in through the fairlead.. not cool..lol but bloody funny..

Havent updated this in a while, still got a few things to do for cert.
Replaced the dying GM p/steer pump with the original pump off the diesel engine. Didnt take any pics cos the new mount is somewhat agricultural but atleast now ive got power steering
Still on the to do list: source new front rotors an better pads for the brake test, refit the flares that got torn off in the Akas a few weekends ago,clean out an readjust the hand brake, wash the rest of the mud out of the centre of the clutch
Get a new set of front springs

Hey mate what Pads did you end up using.? what are the better grippy pads to use for passing the certs, been reading about ebc red stuff pads but i cant find any info about those super grippy race type brakes and if they fit 4x4's etc

Havent had time to look into it too much,but talking to a few people ebc pads arent that great an break up after a little use so ill start looking into it more this week

Go in and have a chat to the guys at BNT. Tell them what you are after and they will be able to suggest something.

Talked to G Guy motors parts man the other day, he was saying zinoli pads an slotted rotors are what they use in their race trucks an BNT get them in for them so yeah Ill be having a chat to BNT tomorrow if I get time.
