Excuse my ignorance guys, but as a newbie to this site, would someone be able to provide directions to Rallywoods? I live in Woodville, and can come down either way (Wairarapa or Kapiti) which ever is the easiest way to get there.
Cheers.

wairarapa is easier

search for bulls run rd on maps, off moonshine road in upper hutt and drive to 100m before end of it and take right road/track, but you need permission and someone to let ya in the gate.

if ya coming for an ORE thing then people will meet ya at moonshine rd corner on haywards hill

bla bla bla

Have a look at this Google map I stole from cloggy or Mark

Map Here

Theres been some quite good written directions on some of the old Rallywoods threads in the archives if you've got a bit of time to have a look through.... it would take me about 45 minutes to write it all down and check thats its accurate

Thanks heaps guys. After looking at the map provided, I now know how to get there. Are the ORE weekends/trips/working bee's open to anyone?

If we dont find this one on the weekend of the 19th I will be so very very disappointed because when the landrover comes up at queens birthday sure as chips it will be the only thing most likely of ever climbing it (with reference to Fawk Hill) (maybe dodzees if he parks next the landy in the campsite for long enough

Just to clarify , any current NZFWDA members who are not part of the ORE ASSN do NOT have to pay the Visitor fee as they have existing NZFWDA insurance cover, you may be asked to produce your membership cards so don't forget them.

JUST NOTICED THIS ON THE BOOKING FORM
You must pre-register to attend this trip. Any bookings later than 20/05/2008 will incur a $10 late registration fee

SO GET YOUR BOOKINGS IN

Mike is up from ChCh ready for Rallywoods in the weekend. He's currently working in our office in Wellington and he has something to he wants to get off his chest before he gets up to Rallywoods:
