Thanks for the Private Message warning me dodzee! I probably wouldn't have had time to check the thread today so would have turned up tomorrow wondering where everyone is.

Only problem is that means I'll be out for the 9th... bugger. I even talked my bro into buying a 4WD yesterday specially for tomorrow! Haha.

Have fun next weekend.

Hopefully no one will turn up, everyone who expressed interest in the trip got a PM so hopefully they wont be showing up.

Is a bugger you cant make it, what did your brother buy?

He got a SWB Pajero. http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.asp?id=77900236. It's in quite good condition and will be a lot of fun. He just needs to get some tyres put on it... it has road tyres at the mo. He'll also get some hooks put on it soon.

He's pretty keen to get out with us on trips as well, so that'll be a bit of fun.

Cool, id suggest 2" lift springs in the rear, torsion bar crank and a ball joint flip he will be able get 33's on it and will be a fairly capable truck.

Ball joint flip thread http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/modules ... pic&t=1476

These are the mods i had on my pajero and was happy with how it performed off road with these mods.

i told you the 9th was a better date!!!!
im in!

doddzee... with those mods on that pajero, its only a 3ltr so will require a small amount of massaging to get 33s on as it doedsnt have the factory bodylift. can still get them on tho, i did!
