ANY TEAM THAT HASN'T SUPPLIED ALL THEIR TEAM MEMBERS NAMES TO DACE BY TOMORROW NIGHT, WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE, AND THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS, AND NO LATE NAMES ACCEPTED!
YOU HAVE ALL HAD PLENTY OF TIME, AND PLENTY OF REMINDERS TO GET THIS DONE BY FRIDAY 17TH APRIL, AND THIS IS THE LAST & FINAL REMINDER.
IF EVEN 1 TEAM HAS A MEMBER THAT HAS NOT SUPPLIED THEIR FULL NAME TO DACE BY MIDNIGHT TOMORROW NIGHT, THEN THAT TEAM WILL NOT BE COMPETING......END OF STORY!
So anyone that hasn't done this, had better get their full name PM'd to dace before midnight tomorrow night, or you will cause your team to be non starters!
As usual, all information relating to this event can be found on the 24hr Challenge Costa Plenty thread. viewforum.php?f=83

Just walked in the door..... heres a quick summary of the weekend from my point of view....
Waited for mike to finish off his POS friday afternoon but he wasn't ready, so headed up with Crizpy and Mark (Froggie), got to Costa about 7pm, and settled in for the night, Reece woke us up early wanting hot water for a coffee.....then a mad rush to get breakfest and then help out in the kitchen (part time kitchen bitch), after a drivers briefing then headed out with Badnuz (Euan) in his new tonka toy out to the Staircase hazard, where I videoed half of the day.headed back about 2pm to clear the memory cards on the camera to my laptop, where I was roped into kitchen bitch again. dinner time came , then it was time for the nite stages where it got really foggy, so I parked myself at the hazard by the hut and took some more video, the nite wore on and then it was another day, which looked red sky in the morning, and more hazards to run, so parked up with Badnuz again on the staircase ..... after midday it got colder ...... which turned into driving snow but the event went on..... eventually we got back to the hut where there was a leg of lamb cooking, prizegiving followed with the eating of the lamb .... the snow continued .... the people that stayed socialised outside with a nice warm fire whilst the odd snow fight took place, apparantly I was snoring ....., next morning breakfest and lots of snow covered trucks, Badnuz was still asleep so we built a snowman in his drivers seat of his Zuk..... packing up and stuff , had to get my shiny from the hut to the road so we had to strop it down the hill and I drove it back up .... (has some H/T's on it ....yeah i know its on the list), Bubba needed his Bmw recovering from the carpark, as well as a few others, about 2pm we headed home in our mini convoy....in the gorge mikes rover locked up, so we stopped and pulled the rear driveshaft off, pie and coffee stop at paihatua and a careful trip back with reece (robs surf and trailer),
Event was well organised and planned, nothing really went wrong, sure there can be improvements, so give your feedback to make next years one better, people worked together ... at the end of the day we are here to 4wd, all those people that bitched and moaned about this event missed a good event ... your loss .... even Bubba turned up..... doesnt really matter as its happening again next year....its a shame politics and bs gets in the way of things.....
Got a pile of pics and video so far to sort out, IF ANYONE HAS ANY MORE THEY HAVEN'T GIVEN ME PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I CAN ARRANGE TO GET TO ME TO INCLUDE IN THE COSTA TUFF TRUCK 2009 DVD
More on the DVD later...
Costa T Shirts are $20 and these will be avaliable with the DVD later....More on the DVD later...

big thanks to ryan, dace, badnuz and the rest of the crew, marshalls, etc for their effort in making it happen. Had a ball. Pity we had to leave before everyone had finished but the threat of the desert road shutting, my sick family etc, we had to make the call to leave as soon as we done the last section. Very keen to come back next year if it happens. Will add some comments when the feedback thread starts
thanks again from the "trials team" - one trials truck two club trucks
