Did you space the back of the bonnet up?

Thanks all for ya comments  Yes I have to agree it's has grown up somewhat now
we were suppose to have printed numbers but event day nothing.. so made do..
No problem with heating or should I say cooling BUT i have got inner gaurd linners now and it stopped a lot of air flow over/ past the motor and I boiled the power steering so I spaced the bonnet to help..still working on a fix

Righto then.. it has finally got dark and truck was outside..
Here are some pics of the lighting I have.. not totally happy with the LED's but they are very bright but dont have the distance..
This pic is just low beam HID kit that I installed :D
Image
and High Beam
Image
The LED's are off in the pics before so here they are on low beam HID + LED's
Image
Same again but High beam + LED
Image
Maybe I need BIGGER HID's..  but they are very bright and are only 55 watt jobs.. For the money they are awesome as I think the Lightforce jobs are 100 watts and have 210mm lens so what I have are not bad.. On the other hand the LED spots are bloody hopeless but do light up around the truck..zzzz the Light bars make it really.. again for the $$ spent not bad.. Makes my reverse lights look yellow and very low but are 100 watt jobs..
All lights are 6000k colour range so nice and white..
Not much more now.. latersszzzz K

Good effort dude.

I'm curious to know. What programme did you use to make the video steady and erase the pitch and roll? Very interesting.

Oh and if you are looking at running plenty of power a good tight LSD in the rear and locker in front is a good option. One less switch to worry about and the LSD helpd control the rear end and get power to the ground.
Toy - Zuk chassis tub, hilux 4.88 axles and transfer, Nissan CA18DE motor and auto trans, sc12 supercharger, 32 10'5 simex, twin motor 8274 custom freespool. Well the parts are all there in various corners of the shed

kerry, with out sounding like a smart arse, i got round that tree on the first go, and had nothing to do with the power, you were the one with brand new tyres.
next time your around we will swap trucks and leave the lockers off.

Thats fine Bob.. would love too  BUT I didnt lower my tyre pressures until after that stage.. was running 18 front and 15 rear.. dropped them to 12 around after and made a huge difference, Still getting used to them also..so just learning still..  And didn't want to pop beads.. no beadlocks too..so you know..
Maybe dropping them further would again make a huge difference but after the shit at our wc.. I was a little reluctant to go too low.. as that cost me a new tyre at ours.. so just bear with me.. I'll get there..lol

All good Bob  .. I do listen and watch.. I try to learn from you guys.. but seat time is lacking ( second event and about 5th time out, 1st time out with the new tyres), One day I'll be where you guys are.. just need the time.. walk before running I say.. mind you I dont mind the "hitting the ground running"  but that generally doesnt get you anywhere..
Truck handles totally different to the old swb 70 I had..and I knew how to throw that around.. this one is like ummm.. holy cow..so different in so many ways it's amazing..
I will get there, and as you know you need time behind the wheel..
