Nibby, I gave my glasses another clean, had EIGHT MORE STUBBIES, and those driveshaft crosses still don't line up, :oops:

, will have a few RUMBOE'S and try again latter.

rest assured fitzy, i have not yet lined them up to be perfect.. just put the uni back on to line up the driveshaft... :roll:

and yes, i'll put it together properly when the time comes.. :lol:

p.s... dont stop havin a few rum's though...

progress has stopped yes.. was helpin h20 with his soa, then with money being a tad short and the work related course as of late.. now helpin h20 move premises so things are still on hold.. sorta..

back to business.. its been far too long since any progress and/or posts were made...

and i apologise in advance to any pic whores but you'll have to wait till i get my comp back online (livin at inlaws at the mo usin their comp...) to see any pics..

been gettin a few little bits and pieces sorted..

-got another pair of sides to go to my metal fabbing mate to be able to make a decent pair of sides from four.. also gonna do the same with the rear ambulance doors too..

but wait...... WHY? you ask when you thought the plan was to have the 40 open top?

after a bit of rethinking to do with security (reading the threads about 4wd's being broken into!) and weather conditions etc, i want it to be able to go touring in comfortably aswell as wheel well... i'll make the top available to come off on the rare occasion in summer, but hardtop with a 6 point internal cage is the goer me thinks..

-have sandblasted the rear calipers and given them a paint.. nice! will be gettin the bits to refurbish soonly..

-bought a fibreglass front windscreen surround which came with all the hinges, motor, wipers, actuating arms, glass and even visors! heh heh.. not gonna save much weight i know but my other one wasnt the mintest unit about.. its good, just not mint.

-got another bellhousing, 4 speed gearbox and split transfer for it too..

will get some pics up in the near future..
