It was the best event ive been to in relation to the mixture of driving, fun, socialising (and lilpigzuk wasnt even making a hash of him self  ) fixing shit, the organisation (easy to bribe the organisers into sleep in's), cheap food and the free hot drinks were magic. Well done ryan and crew, goldie and partner (owners)

I know I ummed and arrred about going up just to be a spectator with two kids but I’m freakin glad I did. The kids were so eager they were sitting in the car ready to go at 0450am (a 1st).

The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, my kids enjoyed themselves the whole time and I never once did I hear the dread “Daaaad I’m bored” (also a 1st)

The organisation was great and the constant hot drinks and hot food was a life saver.

See you next year as a competitor!

* First time I have seen Rex sober for more than 12 hours at a time, oh and thanks for dropping off my alternator, oh wait you didn’t!! You just bought it all the way down and then took it all the way back hahahaha, get what you pay for I guess.

** Jerry, I have more photos as well

Am after some feedback with the DVD.......

Do people want to see the vehicles winching up the hills etc (with the obvious waiting bits edited out), or do you want to see progressive cuts of them getting winched up the hill?

On one hand it its a tuff truck event where winching is required, on the other hand I don't want to bore people unnecessarily, Also its different footage to the national televised ones so people can't expect it to be full of 99% driving action or rollovers...

people do want to see it but they dont want to wait while watching it. The best thing I think you can do is what matt4u or supralux did and that was speed the videos up on the boring bits. you get to see it but dont have to wait. slow it down on the exciting bits.

yer keep the realtime winching to a minimum, nothing more boring than listening and watching an electric winch taking 5mins to winch up a step. Speed it up is good for a laugh as well

I think Jerrys idea is good, just bits of the winching otherwise you'll need 50 DVDs
