Holy shit we got a lot of trucks coming!!!!

Waaaaay to many maybe????

Lets be very clear here, we are going to be doing a couple of testing tracks.

You will need GOOD mud tyres, and a WORKING winch :D

With this many trucks, we could well be out after dark on both days if we have vehicle problems, so make sure you have basic spare's for your trucks, i.e fan belts, rad hoses, CV's and anything else needed if your truck has a known week point.

Make sure you have basic tools to fix minor problems, such as those above.

With out each vehicle being equiped with these basic's, the weekend could well turn into an abortion

I'm still trying to figure out how we could split into two groups so we don't get people with the better set up trucks stuck in traffic gettin impatient!!!!!

Have thought the same thing ,it might pay for us to split into 2 groups with say a half hour break in between, just as example Wayne,Ben Jafa etc could lead of and i will lead the 2nd group with Lexlux and Denys ,it doesnt really bother me ,we could keep going till a named time and if nesassay turn around if people are having trouble that way its not going to turn into a all night marathon ..just a thought..Steve

Hi All FYI i have just been advised that the Katikati side of Thompsons is blocked by several slips and is impassable the BOP club are hoping to take a digger in to clear them but its unlikely to be done by Easter also there is a Susuki stuck in Waitawheta and has been for 2 weeks ,Personally this doesnt change my plans i will just go through thompsons as far as i can and turn around and if the Suk is still in Waitawheta it would be great if we spent a bit of time and got it out ..Steve

Bugger,, That will shorten the day a bit :( .. We probly wont get far over the other side, I'm guessing the slips will be upper side of half way.. And , can the Zuk owner be contacted so he/she can be there to help get it out ? From your E/mail Steve , Seems it's going to be busy on all the tracks over Easter :(

Hi,
Still working on the truck and trailer getting them ready, 98% chance of making it.

Have got a spare seat if I make it and some one wants a ride in an older rally truck, no wind screen or doors, hopefully its not raining on the day.
Following Wopass to Mudzilla's on Thurs night and currently planning to do Friday and Sat and heading home on Sat Evening.

Let me know anyne interested and we can talk.

Jafa has told me he dosn't mind sleeping with his coe  , so he has my guest bedroom.. Monstr put his name down early on for a bed , so he has the 2nd bedroom.. Everyone else has to fight over the other 2 rooms .. First here on thursday gets to claim a spot in the house,, the rest are in tents (BYO). In saying that tho , I have a couple (tents ) the we can put up , If your getting here late we ( early arrivals ) can put tents up for you (will Cost tho,,Ha :) ) . Any other requests ? If your bringing bacon , make it Kiwi , for the group photo

I heard last night that the BOP recovery boys have removed the Suk - they didn't realise that the last 100 metres or so that it was on it side being dragged out by 2 v8 Nissans linked together
