... that needs a driver to get to Hamilton.
Yes 86surf, yes. Mate, theres plenty of events during the year, no need ot rush. If your wagon isnt roadworthy, and im only speaking for myself, but i dont wanna hear of someone getting hurt cause they just couldnt miss an event. Better to get your wagon sorted and being safe man. Possibly theres a seat you could nick with yorick as a passenger this time round....

its safe. and i will probly be driving unles yorick wants to.. i don't mind but im sure yorick noes not to go arround a corner to fast in any surf so yea and sorry again. just had a tuff day to day.
Oh and now that it's got some wait in the back it should have about 1 or 2 inches of movment in there.

Just leave out the part about those over 1.5ton last being seen sinking..... the rain has just started here...... yippeee yippee......
86surf..... this is not a two day event. The property is a small private holding that is being lent to us for the day to have a little play. The emphasis is NOT spending two days in wagons cutting rough in the bush... the emphasis is club members getting together, having a LITTLE drive, a BIT of fun in our vehicles and LOTS of piss-taking/bonding followed by lots of DRINKING.
Has anyone got any ritolin for the excitable one?

ORE Waikato BBQ Itinerary
Arrive between 9 and 10am Saturday morning. Sign in as you arrive.
As soon as we're all largly there and ready to go, we will group up for a quick briefing of property rules and behaviour expectations. Probably have a quick look at tow hooks and notify drivers of what hazards they can drive if they are absent/substandard.
First up is a couple of hazards on the hills and drains. Pick your line and make it hard for ya selves, the idea is to find a line thats a challenge

They can be run in either direction.
Once everyone has suitably thrashed those hazards and there's no grass left in sight between the tape, then we shall venture on to the swamp. We will merrily cover ourselves and everyone else in mud for the rest of the arvo.
If there's a contingent of vehicles that aren't suitable for mud plugging, then we will arrange a "follow the leader" train and go for a little tikky tour of the property, there's plenty to play on.
Once we have churned the swamp to pieces, we will head back and see what we can find to beef up the bonfire, crank up the barbies and get the beer flowing.
Sunday = wake up, pack up and head home.
What to expect:
This is a BBQ get together first and foremost.
The 4wding is just a add on for a bit of fun.
Don't expect much driving time, there are alot of vehicles coming.
Expect alot of standing round watching everyone else driving
Expect plenty of yarning and catching up
,
Expect plenty of people looking ya vehicle.
Expect to get muddy and wet up to your arm pits helping with recoveries
Expect to be yelled at by an excitable old guy in a S1 Landrover
Expect to teach/be taught by people.
Expect to see strange stuff in the sky at night.
Also expect a farking big hangover on Sunday
A Few Rules that are note worthy
Stick to one track when traveling between paddocks.
The only place you can let rip and go nuts is in a hazard, any where else and you will be asked to leave. Zero tolerance on that one, the Steers need to have something eat.
Have fun, but any really stupid shit thats pissing everyone off will land you with a great big "#### OFF AND GO HOME " .

you forgot the toilet one.............
Pay ur pissing tax before entering the donated portaloo, dont urinate on the seat... failure of either of these two requirements will mean a ride around the property in one of two forms......
1) locked in the shitter whilst being towed by a grumpy bastard in a Jeep
or
2) locked in Coxsys wagon listening to his take on why Kirk bumped
uglies with a green chick, and which version of the enterprise was superior. Time limited to minimum 1.5 hours. Extra half hour of "who would win, Data or Spock", if requirements are broken for a second time.

Must be contagious

my boss rung me at 7.30 .."when you come in tomorrow can you do a few truck services and while you are there a trailer needs a brake reline ( that's 4 axles = 8 wheel brakes.)"
"hell no I thought we discussed this"
"yea but I'm going to Auckland for a BBQ piss up and I want you to work "
"F%#K OFF!!"
8.00 pm the assistant manager asks one of his wimps to ring.
" where do you want the truck parked for you to do a COF check ( different truck ) in the morning"
" the next sound you will hear is the sound of the phone being shoved up your ar#e"
anyone know of a Service Managers job?
