Thank you Bob, you should have come along for a look. Only snowed Sunday afternoon for a while, and light falls off & on Sunday night. Overall it was a good weekend, both weatherwise and event wise.

Thanks for ya comments Bob, after the issues and problems we went thru in the organising of this, I think it turned out very well.

And with all the support and offers of help for next years,it can only get better

hey there people. lorry aka goldie, daughter here nikki in rotorua. dad told me that you all had a great weekend and tht you got to have all different weather to play in. as by going the photos it looks good.

yeah it was pretty good. although i'm still suffering from the return trip home!

Pumped those shitty SAT's up, two tubes were sticking through on the monday driving out. one lasted till just past palmy. dropped the LR off in otaki as the spare was on and didnt trust the other. came up a week later to pick it up, other one blew 5 mins down the road, then in town took off from the lights and the new water pump still had its long bolts on (which i didnt shorten at the time) so that chewed my fan out! Sounded like the auto fell out on the road!

all in all a wicked weekend, just the trip home was a bitch

Turned out my starter had a dead short and thats why it would't work

I've been waiting since easter for the finals to come out on DVD, emailed them a few times and they still working on it.

what sort of cost would be involved in just going to either help someone .. or just watch ... ?
is it a weekend thing or just a one day event etc ..
really short on cash but ive cought the 4wd bug ... and tbh .. id rather live on baked beans for a month than miss out : )
