Dude, keep your ear on ya phone, i'll ring you.

You won't need a winch for most of friday. You can at least drive it up to the top summit, then take it from there. Little madam could sit on your knee in Ben's truck??

There's gotta be a way!!!!!

Just a quick update ,First off i had a ball ,was really great to put faces to user names and to see Jafas truck in action man that things a beast ,on Friday we split into 2 groups with Wopass ,Mudzilla and Jafa going first and myself leading the second group the first group went through to the bomb site and back while we were prob about 3/4 the way when we made the call to turn back as we had 1 truck with engine probs ,1 with busted cv and axel (no spares) and Tim had broken steering which meant we were going to have to drive out and return with parts ,Pete/Sara and myself went back later that evening in case Tim needed a tow while a Huge thanks to Tintin who took the parts reqired in on his bike in the end no dramas we all drove out ,the damage for the day was apart from a bit of panel mamage to some ,broken steering ,CVs,axels, wayne tore the shocks apart and Fuc#ed a brand new 36 Simex . anz vvega puttung his truck on its side with the funniest comment coming from his daughter ( daddy are we supposed to be like this )
Sat Waitaweta,we started with 8 trucks with me leading after getting through the accsess track the Zuk made the right call to park up and walk while the rest carried on after a couple of hours we heard over the radio that pete was having winch problems and that 3 trucks had turned back leaving me /Jafa/Tim and Dave to push on apart from Jafa driving of the track and tim having a few engine probs and me breaking a winck rope we got out about 7 hours after starting before dark ,A great day with a great bunch of people ,..Photos and Vids will follow in the next day or so .Oh and one other highlight i actually got to tow Jafa once or twice with vid proof

Awesome weekend! Had so much fun and thanks to Mudzilla for the sweet accomodation. two very cool tracks which left my truck with quite a few bruises. Thanks heaps to tintin for riding down to me up thomos and bringing me a steering arm, and chris (UBZ) for being an awesome winch bitch. Managed to get all the way home with my engine ticking the whole way and hopefully just an easy fix. Great bunch of guys (and gals) and all very helpful. Bring on the vids

Hi,
Yes, great 2 days, really enjoyed it, was pleased with how the Mitsi went, once we fixed the rear diff lock, thanks Wayne for the use of your driveway to do the repair, keen to do Waitaphita right around, hopefully with new front axle and front diff lock and some flares to stop the mud.
Truck is now clean after a few hours of water blasting, man that mud sticks.
Thanks to those that organised the trip and thanks Dan for running the winch

When looking at these photos remember that the trucks have a minimum of 35's, so when a truck is up to it doors in mud . . . its deep mud.

The sizing of the photo makes that look like an Isuzu or something. except way, way uglier.

Looked like a fun, slow moving time :D
